We are investigating a biological protection for Stellenbosch oaks, infected by Fusarium via the Polyphagous shot-hole borer. We are working with local farmers to trial the application of Bacillus species (with GRAS status) to support the immunity of the oak trees, in urban and agricultural contexts.
